Why everyone keeps coming back.

Fried Hustle is a vibrant fast food restaurant located at 346 High St, Preston VIC, Australia, that masterfully blends classic fried chicken flavors with innovative, health-conscious choices including gluten-free and vegan options. This spot is a must-visit for anyone craving juicy, flavour-packed burgers in a casual yet modern setting that invites both quick bites and relaxed dining experiences.

The star of Fried Hustle’s menu is undeniably their brilliantly crafted chicken and beef burgers, each one bursting with fresh, high-quality ingredients that ignite the senses. For chicken lovers, the Juicy Roost offers a tender grilled chicken breast topped with smashed avocado and a luscious beetroot jam sandwiched in a soft milk bun—each bite delivering a perfect balance of creaminess and tang. The Firebird amps up the heat and flavor with American cheese, slaw, pickled jalapeño, chipotle mayo, and buffalo sauce, setting a smoky, spicy firework against the crunch of their expertly fried chicken fillet.

Beef burger aficionados will appreciate the Bacon Cheesy featuring a juicy beef patty layered with smoky bacon, American cheese, and crispy fried onions, all brought together by a special house burger sauce and a tender milk bun. The California Love is a fresher take, brightened with crisp lettuce and tomato, appealing to those who enjoy a classic burger amplified with subtle smoky undertones.

Fried Hustle also stands out for its thoughtful vegan options, such as the PlantBased Menace Vegan, a Beyond patty dressed with smashed avocado, pickled carrot, and a vegan bun that delivers a satisfying texture and taste that rivals traditional patties. The Vegan Sneaky Cheezy elevates this even further, with grilled Beyond patty, plant-based cheese, and horseradish vegan mayonnaise offering a creamy, bold flavor profile that satisfies vegan and non-vegan guests alike.

The atmosphere at Fried Hustle is casual yet inviting, fostering a laid-back vibe that complements the comfort food perfectly. According to patrons like Ian King, the space strikes a wonderful balance between modern and cozy, ideal for anything from a casual lunch to a fun dinner with friends. The staff enhance this experience with their warm hospitality and genuine passion for the food they serve—customers like Jasmine Bradbury commend their attentiveness, especially when catering to gluten-free requirements using dedicated fryers and toasters.

What truly makes Fried Hustle feel special is the love and care evident in every detail—from the crunchy, herby coating on their fried chicken that customers repeatedly rave about (notably for its distinct, secret blend of herbs) to the consistently crispy chips that accompany every meal. Regular visitors like Loris Campanile highlight the addictive homemade sauces and the fresh hot delivery, recommending dining in to fully savor the textures and flavors at their peak.

Whether you’re a die-hard fried chicken fan, a beef burger enthusiast, or seeking plant-based delights, Fried Hustle offers a vibrant menu that surprises and satisfies. It’s a spirited culinary side hustle well worth the visit for anyone in Melbourne’s Preston neighborhood craving bold tastes with a friendly atmosphere that leaves you feeling welcomed and well fed.

- great sneaky cheese burger - great chicken tenders - great homemade sauce We came at a quiet time on a random Tuesday so I won't review the atmosphere. Owner was great fun to talk to and the dice roll was unexpected how cool. Didn't win though but I won't let that affect my review. I would recommend eating in instead of getting this delivered, this type of food needs to be eaten hot and freshly served.

I recently visited this burger restaurant and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between casual and modern, making it a great spot for anything from a quick lunch to a relaxed dinner with friends. The space was clean, well-lit, and had a welcoming vibe that immediately made us feel comfortable. The burgers are clearly the highlight of the menu. I ordered the classic cheeseburger, and it exceeded expectations. The patty was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked exactly to the requested temperature. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without getting soggy. The toppings tasted fresh—crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and perfectly melted cheese that tied everything together. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. The fries deserve a special mention as well. They were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and lightly seasoned. The portion size was generous, and they paired perfectly with the house-made sauces, which added an extra layer of flavor. If you enjoy milkshakes, theirs are thick, creamy, and made with real ice cream—definitely worth trying. Service was another strong point. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick without making us feel rushed. Our order arrived promptly, and everything was served hot and fresh. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a priority here. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. You’re definitely getting good value for what you pay. Overall, this restaurant delivers on taste, service, and atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality burger experience and will definitely be coming back.

Not sure what I was expecting - odd name (yes I get it, side hustle) and was always dead whenever I walked past on occasions when going to Sweethearts Gelato. Ordered through delivery - and damn it was good! Korean nuggets were arguably better than Nene and Gami. And the chicken burger was very tasty - way better than KFC. Glory Fryed still takes my top stop for fried chicken, but extra points to Fried Hustle for having all their chicken gluten free as well - we’ll be back

I've been here a few times and have enjoyed it each time. The fried chicken is fantastic; hot, crispy and juicy. I can't put my finger on what herbs they put in the coating but it's quite different to any other fried chicken in Melbourne. The chips are also deliciously crunchy. All the burgers I've had here have been really good. My only criticism would be that the beef patties seem to be cooked a little under for my taste. Not sure if they're grinding their own mince, but if not, I don't think they should be served pink in the centre. Dine in is a bit sparce, with the door being opened and left open so regularly by uber drivers it gets pretty freezing in the shop during winter. I've also ordered off uber eats a few times and the chicken arrived surprisingly still hot and crispy after travelling to Coburg North (ordered outside of rush hour). All in all Fried Hustle is a great spot and I definitely recommend trying it out.

Customer service was great, they were very accommodating and patient with us. Generous serves, each item came with a generous dipping sauce for no extra cost. Chips were delicious, fried chicken has its own signature flavour, and the firebird burger had so much flavour. Perfect place to bring your friends <3
